SYFoA is a six months hybrid fellowship combining virtual learning, high touch mentorship, project incubation, and an immersive in person international residency.

THE SYFoA LEADERSHIP JOURNEY
Fellows undergo a deep personal story audit, examining past failures, delays, sacrifices, and breakthroughs.
Through guided reflection and Narrative Intelligence (NQ) frameworks, they extract the embedded leadership lessons within their lived experiences, converting personal history into strategic authority and authentic leadership positioning.
Fellows translate their audited stories into action by designing and launching a Story-Led Project (SLP).
Structured as social enterprises, market-driven solutions, or self-funding community models, these ventures address urgent local challenges without relying on external donor aid or charity.
Fellows codify their personal transformation and venture outcomes into lasting intellectual property.
Each fellow authors a professional essay for the published SYFoA Anthology and produces a short Impact Documentary, positioning them as credible, published voices in continental leadership dialogue.
The cohort gathers in Accra, Ghana, for an intensive in-person residency.
The journey culminates in presentations at a high-level policy symposium, a public venture showcase before investors and stakeholders, and formal commissioning into the SYFoA Alumni Legacy Circle during the Global Youth Workers Conference.
THE FELLOWSHIP EXPERIENCE
Through the fellowship, fellows develop their capacity to examine their stories, structure their experiences into leadership frameworks, design solutions, engage communities, and create sustainable impact.
The fellowship culminates in an immersive in-person residency, immersion, and graduation in Accra, Ghana.
